Patrick’s Irish Pub

Patrick’s Irish Pub is a place to meet friends after work, you are there to get grounded after enduring the pace of the city. It is also a special place to make new friends or hatch a revolution, as have always been done in these kinds of places.

Patrick’s Irish Pub is an Irish style pub in Parque Lleras where Alamo Bar used to be. Pubs in Medellin have experimented with mutations of all kinds while trying not to lose the charm or personality of the originals.

Some are genuine and others somewhat less but the important thing is to have a space in our routine to meet with friends surrounded by the warmth that we have inherited from the Celtic culture.

Music at a volume never exceeding 60dB allows relaxed conversation and not have to shout to be heard. Sociability and communication of the customers is a top priority of the Irish pubs, and Patrick’s Irish Pub is no exception.

Warm and relaxed, almost family, books, sofas and even tables and mirrors typical in a home. That our guests feel at home is one of our main objectives. While the cute waitresses in green may not be a strictly Irish tradition, it should be: a welcome Paisa innovation.

The word “Pub” comes from Public House.

The public houses were originally places of assembly (17th century) and at some point someone started serving beer and liquor in the public house, giving it more appeal and converting pubs into gathering places to talk politics, business, family and much more.

Today this tradition is part of various cultures around the world and Colombia could is no exception.

Pubs, in recent years, is proud of a reputation for good service, good food and drink and an unbeatable real pub atmosphere, but the only way to be sure is to come along and see for yourself! We guarantee a warm welcome and a great time!

As they say in Irish,
“Cead Mile Failte!” Which means “One hundred thousand welcomes”.
